No O today and not in a rush to get on with any other formal exercise, so another rest day.
Chance to get a bit more recovery rest and pust Christmas domestic stuff done.

Orienteering race 43:49 [5] 5.6 km (7:49 / km)

Chailey Common (N) Blue Course.
First event without lace up brace since R foot injury (used standard figure of 8 of ankle tape) - shoes much more comfortable.
Concentrateed on getting the nav correct, but also not hanging about if I was feeling ok (wrt cold). A bit of a dither on a control in an area of many holes and also confused by mapping towards the end of the course, but otherwise pretty happy with my orienteering approach. A bit of a rush to get back to the car to facilitate the split starts.

Rest day after a low activity week.
Cold seems to be shifting at last.
Slept better last night (though still with a coughing episode for about 30 mins at 03:30).

Chailey Common SOG tomorrow could be a good check on how the recovery has been going.

Not doing Thursday Run today.

Possibly SO SONIC at Tilgate streets/golf course this evening.

Will depend upon energy levels at time, however. Didn't sleep at all well - kept awake coughing most of the night (like previous two nights). Also depend upon domestic routine - like always: these evening O activities cut across the childrens bedtime routine.

Unusual Christmas: seem to have lost weight over the holiday period.
Currently 10st 2lb (64.5kg) - a couple of kg below normal weight, and perhaps 4-5kg below usual Christmas weight. Definitely been off my food!

Via a late Christmas card delivery to a house letterbox.
Front gear cable snapped during this journey, so stuck on the smallest ring (low gear). Fix it job for the evening!

Decided not to do Tilgate SONIC after all.
Not feeling particularly up to it, plus quite late by time I was home to get everything sorted out.

Back to work after the Christmas/NY break, so trying to follow a normal routine. Rather an effort (and still have this damn cough).

First swim of 2013.
Good to clear the tubes, but quickly started to fatigue. Generally slower throughout than usual - not too surprised by that following inacyivity due to cold.
