The Glenshelane Loop, CW

Felt sluggish at the start but got into it fairly quickly and was able to got at a decent pace without putting any serious effort in. Hamstring and glute a bit grumbly, and still slightly feeling the aftereffects of the cold, so obviously in pretty good shape to be able to run this sort of time.

From Burbage Bridge along the top of the Crags the down Padley Gorge and back via Surprise View and Higger Tor.

Running doesn't really get much better. Glorious evening, gorgeous terrain and also feeling pretty good. Still not shaken the cold completely, but it's pretty much in the background now. Hamstring a bit iffy, and not able to run smoothly over the really rocky stuff.

Standard Office - Mulehouse Rd - Rivelin - direct climb to golf course - Ranmoor loop.

Still a bit under the weather, but actually felt pretty good for the first half of this - running felt fast and easy. Started to struggle a bit later on.

Legs felt as good as they've done for a while. No real pain until the steep bit of the climb through the woods. Hamstring / glute a bit sore from then on, but much better than last week.
