Running 56:21 [3] 10.0 km (5:38 / km)
shoes: Scott

Ran home from the entrance to Stokes Valley via the track on the South side of the tip, and Avian (plus headed off down the wrong track at one point).

Again, physically pretty good and kept up a reasonable tempo to try to get benefit from it in case I have to rest for a while. Foot sore before, but no worse during or after.

Running 1:39:57 [3] 16.02 km (6:14 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Pegasus

Dry Creek - Boulder Hill - round the Kilminster Loop (CW) - Dry Creek.

Felt tired for the first 5 minutes, and didn't really feel anything at all after that. Just kept going at a reasonable pace and barely noticed the hills. Surprisingly quick time, especially since conditions were back to being fairly soggy.

However, foot quite sore from time to time. But sore both before and afterwards (right from getting up this morning).

Running 51:05 [5] 10.0 km (5:07 / km)
shoes: Saucony

Hills. The usual 2 x 4 session at the top of Avro Road.

Legs felt full of energy - pressure definitely on the lungs rather than the legs and probably didn't push hard enough to start with.

Foot had felt much better this morning, and pretty much OK all the time while running. Maybe a bit sorer afterwards, but still pretty good.

Cycling 1:00:29 [3] 25.31 km (2:23 / km)

The Whitemans Valley loop anticlockwise. Put a bit more effort in than sometimes, and felt pretty good. But a reasonably stiff Southerly to slow things down.

Running 34:00 [3] 7.0 km (4:51 / km)
shoes: Saucony

The medium Avian-Avro loop. Just a short run to see how the foot would cope. Hardly any problem while running but probably more sore afterwards than before.

Snow falling at times while running. Wore a hat, probably for the first time when running from home!

Note

Right foot really quite sore. It's the outside of the foot and there seems to be soreness just below the ankle and further forward. Was probably going to rest today anyway, but this made the decision easy.
