Not too fast because the air quality was questionable. We went to the pier, but the fog was coming in from both sides, so we decided to head back. It was hard to find the harbor in the fog! I did a little extra loop in the harbor and called it a day.

Evening run around the neighborhood. Have built back up to 4 as my post-multi-injuries max distance. Felt pretty good, but legs were a bit tired/heavy. No biggie, though.

Paddle (Outrigger) 1 [3]

OC1 paddle mostly in the harbor with a small trip out to the #2 buoy. The air quality was questionable so I tried to mostly keep it light, but I had to low key race a few random harbor-goers such as the big power boat that was next to me or the unsuspecting kayakers. The guy in the power boat put his head out the window and asked "are you racing me?" Ha! Nope, just trying to get around... totally different. In the end, I managed a nice paddle and didn't feel like I smoked a pack of cigarettes, so it was a good day. Details from entry that pulled in from garmin

Mountain Bike 1 [3]
ahr:138 max:160

We tried mountain biking today during an extreme heat advisory, but after 1.5 miles, it was just too much and Trav was severely affected (almost puking). When we got back to the car, it was reading 114 degrees! It said 86 when we started. I suspect the real temp was somewhere in the middle. Oh well. We tried and it made us tougher.
