Holy headwind on the way out! How could I not go for a ride along the ocean on my first day back, though? The way back was fun and fast. I don't care that they had huge panniers and were on a long day, it felt good to catch those bike packers who I passed on my way out.

Pretty short run, but they have some good hills in traverse city! Last day in Michigan and my hosts weren't up yet so the perfect opportunity to get a run in.

Ran by my parents' place. Felt pretty good. Tried to focus on cadence which seemed to help speed, but it's going to take some time to get that back.

Super easy fun kayaking with my dad. Prob shouldn't even log it but whatever. I had to use mom's paddle because mine is nowhere to be found. Had fun looking at fish, pitcher plants, and everything else in the lakes.
