Road Bike (Tri bike) 2:03:57 [3] 26.8 mi (13.0 mph) +1479ft

Borrowed Anna's tri bike and her boyfriend for a ride around Orange County while she had to go to work. Very nice roads with bike lanes but a lots of lights to slow down/stop for. We weren't killing it or anything but there were a few good climbs in there - mostly a steady conversational ride. I flatted a quarter mile from the end so we just walked the last bit in.

Run 1:00:00 [3] 6.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Run with Anna around long beach- yes, we ran along the beach. I won't complain that I was a little too hot :) probably should have started a bit earlier. Fun run- went by fast when running with a friend. Stopped for coffee at the end and walked a mile or two home.

Run 1:28:00 [3] 7.2 mi (12:13 / mi)

Total run time - there were some stops at lights, etc. Anaheim is a busy city and the road I ran on was a big one. I'll choose a smaller road tomorrow, but I was trying to get out to this river trail. I spent most of my allotted 90 minutes getting out there, but it was less exciting than I thought it would be. The river was extremely low with built up channels to make it snake back and forth within the actual riverbed.
Pretty hot run and I was thirsty - didn't think to bring water and there were no fountains at the park. No complaints, though, because I was running outside in hot weather in mid-february. :)

Run 1:00:00 [3]

Run around Anaheim. Beautiful day with perfect temps. Saw some parakeets perching on power lines and literally stopped to smell the roses once because hellooo I was passing roses in February. Very much enjoying being in California.

XC Ski (Skate) 1:39:00 [3] 18.0 km (5:30 / km)

Distance is totally made up. 3 laps around Midland City Forest. As usual, trail was chewed up from walkers cluelessly ruining the skating lanes. I wish they would dedicate the south half to only skiers. That would be awesome. Otherwise, it was a nice cruising ski. No hills to really get the HR up, but a good day of V2 practice.

Run (Snow trail) 1:18:00 [3] 6.0 mi (13:00 / mi)

After my ski - mostly with my headlamp. Again, distance is just made up. This was TOUGH. Ran the single track, snow was really coming down. The trail was just uneven and soft like sand. Good strength workout, though, for sure!
