Run 1:33:42 [3] 9.25 mi (10:08 / mi)

Same long loop as last time - 9 Mile Rd - Hotchkiss - Carter - Salzburg - Garfield and back.

Felt good today. I picked the right time of the day to run - there were a few glimmers of sunshine and the wind seemed to be dying down.

Road Bike (Trainer) 1:40:00 [3]

My transmitter died, so I don't know how fast/far I went, but it's the trainer, so I guess it doesn't REALLY mean much anyway. I guess that's what the flashing speed meant the other day.

Strength Training 1:00:00 [3]

Strength: Deadlift
5 rounds of 5 every 2 min @70%
185 lb

3 rounds for time:
Row 400m
15 push ups
10 ring dips

13:04 - wow, I sucked at this. The ring dips were killing me even with the red band

Then:
0:30 on 0:30 off for 8 rounds of bounding box jumps - really short time on the floor (fast as possible) on a 9" box

Yoga (Ashtanga) 1:30:00 [1]

Strength Training 1:00:00 [3] 1.0 mi (1:00:01 / mi)

Run 800m
30 "man makers" (Squat, push up, dumbell rows on each arm) I'm finally able to use my shoulder again for below the shoulder activities with low, controlled weight, so 12 lb dumbbells were used.
Run 800m

Total time:17:28 (?) I think

This was still a "modified" workout because we were supposed to do 5 rounds of 5 snatches and 10 wall balls, but I subbed the man makers because those could just be modified to remove the push press. They actually didn't turn me into a man, thank goodness. At least not the "important parts" Ha!

Then physical therapy exercises

Yoga (Power Yoga) 1:30:00 [2]

At Hilltop Yoga

Oh man, this was a killer yoga class. I was sweating so bad that it was dripping on the mat off every part of me. I know it's a yoga thing, but do they really have to keep the room so hot? 68 would have been perfect... maybe 70 degrees. Anyway, I kept slipping out of place and she was having us hold the poses so long, my legs and such were burning and I struggled to not slide off my drenched mat.

Also, I think I fell asleep during shavasana. Oops... I don't think you're supposed to do that. At first, I thought that I was doing a really awesome job at the meditative "letting thoughts go" thing, but later realized it was that falling asleep state where your mind just runs through a whole series of nonsensical thoughts.
