Big Cedar Lake —> Ferne Clyffe. Elapsed time 5:52. Rained the whole day. It took nearly 3 hours to go our first 3 miles. Very littleriding, mostly dragging bikes over downed trees and up and down muddy, rocky, eroded hills. More route finding. Things improved once we reached the road, but it was a lot colder out of the shelter of the trees. I couldn’t add layers because I’d accidentally left my sleeping bag at home and needed dry clothes to sleep in. Dollar General saved the day!

Godwin Trailhead —> Big Cedar Lake. Don’t let the short distance or short moving time fool you. These were hard-won miles and elapsed time was 2:21. Even with the route on Garmin the route finding was reminiscent of AR. Once that part was over, though, there was a good amount of rideable trail. Set up camp in the dark.
