Jeff and Jacob had to be at soccer 30 minutes early, so I rode with them and spent the time on the trail. Added bonus of avoiding the crazy wind there.

Gravel with Mickey. My gravel miles this year have been anemic at best, which wouldn't be a problem if I hadn't registered for the Coast to Coast 209-mile race across Michigan in May. I've really enjoyed all of my gravel training over the past few years, but I can't muster much interest in it this year.

Low to mid 30's with light snow for a few hours, followed by light rain, followed by snow. Steady W then WNW wind in the mid to high teens. Thankfully our course was a loop that ran basically north and then south, so our time in an actual headwind was limited.

Felt decent though slow until we stopped in Silex at mile 60. Pretty bleak after that. Crampy legs despite trying to keep up on water and taking some electrolytes. I should probably be a little more proactive there.
