Rode sweep for the SHITR with Chuck. Very enjoyable ride, which was surprising after my previous mtb ride suckfest.

There's just something about riding a cross bike on singletrack.

Strange that the first mile was the easier one this time. Temp was about 8 degrees, I think, so I was layered up pretty good. Seems like a 5 second break here and there makes me feel a lot better.

Forgot my bike shoes, so that was nice.

Haven't felt that shitty on a ride in a loooong time. Just no strength or cardio at all. Embarrassing.

Silver lining: the handlebar mitts are amazing. no gloves necessary.

First time out since having a grand mal about 2 weeks ago. Temps were very cold but manageable, first mile was no fun but the 2nd wasn't half bad.

And I don't know why but I love listening to Ed Sheeran when I run.
