O race 43:48 [3] 4.79 km (9:09 / km) +60m 8:36 / km

Middle distance event at (ex) Orroral Tracking Station. Lots of controls in the open areas which I ran well thru - came unstuck on one control (sounds familiar) when I went up a parallel creek in green searching for a boulder - wondered why the mapping looked suss - had to bail and go to a track junction to relocate to have another go (I could have used this option earlier but elected to go the more risky route choice) - which is when I found out what I did - lost about 7 minutes - Liz said I am running too fast now!

Usual ride to arboretum via the zoo single tracks for coffee then directly home - warm and windy - too much of both for autumn. Peleton of 4 plus a dog.

Running on trails at Cooleman Ridge while Liz walked pooch with a friend - bit of back tracking to see where they were at and to arrange a meeting point. Warm conditions again and track dusty and hard. Nice views over the Brindabellas tho.

Peleton of 4 to coffee shop and 4.5 back (Des got dropped after he had a flat). Nice riding weather - still and warm. Legs felt they needed a few rides to get back in the groove.

First hit out at cross country track since return from Tassie. Took a while to get used to running fast again on a track but felt fitter - a la running faster at the same heart rate. Lost nearly 1.5 kilo over past 3 weeks so still heading to target weight.
