Battersea Park Race. Quite warm, a bit rainy. Made quite a few mistakes and lazy route choices. Need to be a bit more cunning with my running.

Leg 11 of the North Downs Way Relay. The same leg as I ran two years ago. I won this time - but my time was one second slower than 2009.

LOK Regent's Park. Gentle, constant pace the whole way around, testing to see if injury was gone - it was :-). Pushed a little harder for the final leg. Felt good. Could have gone faster, of course! Course distance 5.3km.

Road Running (City Runners) 28:30 [4] 6.0 km (4:45 / km)
(injured) shoes: Nike Lunar +2s

Every time I do a run with City Runners I end up in the pub for hours afterwards... Anyway Dan and Evan were along this evening. Started quite slow, but the pace went up and up - and I couldn't hold on to them. Shortened course, across the Millennium Bridge. Went too fast for the final km down Bermondsey Street and the shin spints flared up. Really hope it's not an injury - will find out at Thursday's race I guess. I wasn't recovered properly from Nottingham - shins/calves had hurt slightly from the start - should have stopped. :-(

Nottingham City Race. GPS said I ran 14.8km! Ouch. Some spectacular legs, including in Nottingham Castle! Included a control with a quite stunning view over the whole city. Most impressed.
