JK Long at Cold Ash - Course 1 17.8km

Good start and basically clean until 12.
Found 14 before 13
Too high on 17 and Mark had caught up by 18
With him for far loop but on the long route back I wasn't really naving and when we hit a path I ran left, Mark ran right (the correct way). I soon figured this out but I never saw him again.

Gel with caffeine in hit me here and felt awful so the last loop was as a struggle. Will never have one again.

Area was better than expected and didn't have the legs to get round the whole of it full gas.

Played it safe on a lot of route choices so no major errors but not the fastest. Wish I did my own thing on 14 and spotted the flatter route on 17
