Routegadget

• Jogging round as was worried about calf
• Wasted 5:35 on #1
• Now pissed off and already walking
• Wasted 4:24 on #3
• Even more annoyed. Time for some jelly babies
• Slow through the next controls
• Twisted my ankle at 7 - reduced to a slow walk
• Checked watch at drinks stop at 12...saw i had already been out for an hour so knew i was going to retire and bailed after 16. Could not think of any positive gains that would come as a result of me finishing.

Shame i was unable to race properly as the course was great. Still managed to make it as Wendles' blip at the one point i was being energetic:
