Woke up, ankle felt just good enough to race, but during brief warmup, it felt bad.
Once on the way though it was fine. Raced with Gus for first 5, then I was really bad with direction for 3 controls and dropped many minutes. Amazingly team mates bailed me out and had great runs to get 2nd.

Finished weekend with 4 silvers. Amazing...but feel, I hardly deserved one.

Really enjoyable IOC. Fantastic well done to FermO and wider orienteering community.

Much better focussed today, managed ok in the forest which meant I lost far less time in forest then most. 2 significant errors in open, one of them route choice cost me minutes. Got quite tired during the end, and just managed to get ahead of Billy who lost a lot of time in the forest.

Curiously ankle got very sore some hrs after run, as if I did a bad twist. Very sore during agm but started to get better thereafter. perhaps taped too tightly for the race and got delayed reaction.

Wow, with the fairies today. 2nd again in class behind Bill but had little focus for the course. Also struggled to see detail on map. Eyes were not working well. Performance didn't deserve 2nd

Didn't feel hamstring....forgot about it actually.
Reasonable run, couple minor slips. Would need to be at fittest to challenge Bill.
