Green Y classic
I didn't think I ran that great during my race but I ended up in 3rd for juniors which is cool. I took some time to get to 1 which a lot of people had trouble with, I was just looking at the rock features too early and I did the same on 4 but it was more of a bobble. I had one pretty big mistake (5+ min) on 11 and made a parallel error along with 2 other people that were near me. Other than that it was ok, I was going slow and I got a giant blister on the arch of my foot from tape. :/
It was a very "West Point" course which I thought was pretty fun

Crusader Relays 4x1600 2nd leg
Our relay wasn't too great and we had 2 legs that were 6+ minutes, so we started off 80 meters behind the last 2 teams. I caught them in aprox. 400 meters and gained another 100 on them. Our 3rd leg fell back a bit so Anna was lucky and had someone to run with as the anchor. We ended up in 4th out of 6 and got tshirts.

Ew. Horrible time and even worse race.
4x8 2nd leg
We had to sit around all day in the sun and then race a stupid 4x8 with 3 teams (including us). We were seeded like a minute faster than the 2nd team which is pretty accurate. Unfortunately we all ran really slow bc we were hot and tired and had to race completely alone. It was really hard to run. We won by 340 meters or so which pissed me off because we were stuck there all day for nothing. At least our coach apologized to us after for wasting our time and we got tshirts...again.

League meet @South
Open 800 seeded 4th and I came in 4th. I'm not very happy with this one, my legs just felt cruddy and all yesterday and today while warming up my foot hurt. It doesn't hurt when I race though so that's good.

4x800 2nd leg
Our lead off was a 7th grader against one of the fastest girls at the meet on the North Rockland team so that wasn't great and we were like 90 meters behind at the first hand off. Then I got the baton and I got 'er good. Heheheh I closed a lot the first 400 then was around 10 meters behind her until the last 100 where I got the lead. Props to our whole team for cheering realllllyyy loud the whole race :) Then Kate and Anna got more of a lead and we won by a lot. Good race since we were just trying to get second. Also glad I got a better time and the fastest split and I felt good physically.

2000m steeple @Cornwall
I'm pretty sure this is a new worst time by like 20 seconds but that's ok. I'm not upset because I'm over a month behind everyone on training. My first 2 laps were strong and then I got really tired heh, I need to work on that endurance a bit more. Also my water pits were horrendous so I have to work on those. At least my foot didn't hurt while I raced because I was very worried about that so I was a bit cautious. Managed to hurdle all of them and didn't wipe out :) (although I almost did cuz I hit my trail leg)
