Ouch. That was steep. Ouch. Good thing I have been running track for the past 4 months :) made 2 mistakes and one was pretty rough. Control 1 took me around 13 minutes longer than it should have which is pretty bad. There was a group of like 5 of us that could not find it and we kept finding the control for the blue course. After that great start I was smooth until number 9. I was looking too far up the hill for the "bare rock" which is not the type of bare rock I was looking for. I was looking for a slab of rock even though it was a lot of small loose rocks. Other than that it went ok with lots of crawling up sides of hills (cliffs). The terrain is pretty different but I like it and it's so warm and nice! Also hoping I didn't get any poison oak which I was unaware of. Hah

New Balance Nationals 4x800 @the armory.
We ran pretty horribly and didn't even make All American top 6. Our two fastest ran 2:20 and Rachel and I ran 2:23. Yeah... It's ok though I'm super happy with my season and I'm ready to kick it into gear during spring. My coach told me to end being proud with what we did and how I ran, anywayyyy we still have 3 seasons of track together as a team so we have lots of time. :) fun meet except for the running part, and the backpacks are pretty swag this year.
