Orienteering race 17:53 [4] 2.5 km (7:09 / km)

Mistakes on 3 and 4. Possibly a route choice error going to nine by running/slogging through the overgrown field.

Orienteering race 1:16:15 [4] 6.75 mi (11:18 / mi)

Went north (counter-clockwise) first to pick up that group. Made my way out to the 194 control, decided not to try to cross the swampy area, and came back to get some in the south.

Went by 185 four times (twice in meet, twice in control pickup) before I found where it was. The vegetation confused me, but this was noted in the course notes.

Fun score-o, the extra fifteen minutes made more controls accessable and still no one cleared the course. Good to see some trail runners who were at the trail challenge come out to this meet.

No Garmin today, so time and distance are approximate. Easy recovery run, just to wake the legs up a bit

Did two ~30 sec fast stride drills.

Out of town for the weekend, so the "long run" was in very hilly terrain. One mile hill going out, and a slightly shorter but more steep hill on the way back.
