Camp Tuckaho w/ my Brownie - good times at another "She and Me" camp. Tracked the mileage during the day out of curiosity. Mix of road and trail; logging less time. Giant bins of cheese balls and oreo cookies @ our trivia night table so plenty of fine food this weekend. Ack

An actual, real yoga class @ camp. My first ever! It was OK. I appreciated the stretching and mindfulness.

Note

Coming out of AP hibernation...didn't intend to stay away this long. What started as life overload (mostly work-related) turned into losing the logging habit. Ugh! Back at it!

Since I have now hit the big 5-0, I have a few goals for the year that would benefit from stating in writing:

1. Complete some type of "adventure paddle", the definition of which I am still working on.
2. Be trained to the best of my potential for the DK 100 in June (I am IN per lottery results on Sat.!)
3. And the A race (which is not even a race) - I am planning a solo ultralight backpacking excursion on the Wonderland Trail (circumnavigating Mt. Rainier) with a goal of knocking out the 93 mi./22K climb loop in 3 or 4 days - depending on fitness level and the NPS permit lottery process. At first I was planning to climb Mt. R again, but decided this alternate adventure would be equally fun and challenging w/ less overall risk.

Got a few other races on the calendar too, but the above are things I am most focused on.
