orienteering race (Croeso 6 day ) 37:57 [4] 3.8 km (9:59 / km) +165m 8:12 / km

This was the first time I had done an urban area .. And I really enjoyed it .. I could have pushed myself a bit more and my navigation needs to be a bit more sharper .. For number 15 I came around the wrong side of the building and had to go out and around again but that was only real major mistake ..

I loved this course .. Although my running was weak my navigation was really good and I got all the controls on point .. I just need to practice making fast route choices navigating wile running a bit more ..

Started messing up at number 1 .. And the rest of my controls were really sloppy especially number 5 .. I was way too right and had to do so much more climb than nessecary ... Was really disappointed with my navigation and running .. I had an awful run ..

My legs felt really good .. And I thought it was going to be a fast race so I went out fast which was a bad idea.. I was okay until number fours where I meant to come unto the ride much further than I planned to and ended up passing the control after a bit more messing around thought I eventually found it ..I was slow and messy coming to the next few controls and at number twelve I took a long while.. I jumped into a tree trunk and like wacked my thigh into and strained it ... Was really disappointed ..

Was much more prepared today ... I enjoyed it as my navigation was really good.. I made a few minor mistakes but otherwise I got my controls perfect.. I saw Aoife at number 5 and I tried to catch her but my legs weren't able to .. I really need to work on my fitness as that really slowed me down.. I lost my dibber going to number 6 while climbing over a fence in a marsh area and spent 3+ minutes looking for it .. So at the end me and Aoife got strings for our dibbers .. Otherwise I was really happy with my navigation ..

orienteering race (Croeso 6 day - day 1) 2:30:00 [3] 7.0 km (21:26 / km)

Picked up the wrong map.. And got really confused and thought I had the wrong control description but when I got top number 4 I realised I had the wrong map and ran back to the start but I wasn't allowed to start again so I just had to take my Map and go. I couldn't get my head over the fact that i had made such an obvious mistake and I just couldn't make sense of my map and was making stupid mistakes on it so I just gave up and started walking. Even then I wasn't concentrating and made my course much longer than I should have... I realised I wasa taking so much time so at number eleven I just ran straight to number 15 and then to the finish. I'll never pick up the wrong map again!!!
