Right before we left for Boojum, I mysteriously had a sharp pain under my kneecap. It got better as I walked around a bit, so I put on my knee brace and got in the car. I was able to warm up with no real problem, but there were a few steps going down a hill where I had a sharp pain again, so I decided it was probably best not to run today. Yay for being careful!

Really confused about my knee. Ok now when walking around, but I can definitely feel some inflammation. Where did that come from??? Maybe my legs are just tired of running on ice and snow all the time.
Woke up feeling really good today! Still being cautious about being overly serious too soon, and a run didn't fit easily into my schedule, so decided to just enjoy my rest day.
Which reminds me that I should be doing a better job of taking my resting heart rate!!!

400, 800, 1200, 800, 400, all with 200m rest. (Time is all the fast parts squished together.) 400's at mile-ish pace, longer ones at 5k-ish pace. I didn't have a watch and so just ran with Alex for all but the 1200. We were definitely going faster than my 5k pace, but I told myself it was ok because we also took more than 2:00 rest. Either way, it felt good.
