Yellow leg of csu's second 8-point relay. Fun! Yellow was the perfect distance for me to do in the middle of a 3-day meet.

Mistakes: 20 seconds on control 2. Ran down the wrong path out of the first control, because I didn't see the first of the 2 junctions I had to go through. After that I was pretty good at reading ahead, being careful, and looking for visible features.

Peter gained more time on me on 2 of the later controls, but I think they were road legs that I didn't make mistakes on.

I think I also had a 10-second hesitation on 5. The fence confused me.

The relay atmosphere was really fun. It was great to get to race!

Walk-ran the night o' (walked the uphills, ran the flats/downhills). Some mistakes, one very stupid one, but much smoother overall than I expected to be!

I'd also been planning to walk the whole thing, so it was a nice surprise when I felt good enough to run.

Arch got more sore after the first 5 minutes, so I walked some of the way back. I think 3 short-ish runs this week would be better than 2 longer ones, so my foot can loosen up and have a chance to be 100% before Friday.
