5Peaks Rattlesnake Point, Enduro.
28th/205 in 1:06:41, 24th male, 7th/44 in M40-49.

Love the 5Peaks Rattlesnake course, in all its' rocky glory. Went out a bit hard, 12 mins through the first 3kms. It felt good, but if I had paced smarter, say 4:30-5 min/km to start, I might have had more to attack the hills with and still finished in the same time, if not been more consistent/stronger throughout the race. Maybe finish faster, lol.

I also thought later that perhaps I should have paced myself based on the pace for Sunday's race, to have a more consistent pace overall for the weekend. Mostly just thoughts for the future.

Still a beautiful day to be out, and hang-out post race before heading to Collingwood.

Great shakeout run at Hilton Falls with DD11, I wasn't sure if it was the humidity or lack of sleep but it was pretty easy to work up a sweat. Still great to catch-up with all the big races that have happened and are coming up [some races bigger than expected, lol]

I'm amused that despite racing two different races this weekend, we will both have getawaystix to thank for the beauty and the suffering :-D
