Embarrassingly sloppy. I have been having a difficult time picking up features on the maps. My eye exam 2 weeks ago revealed the need for bi-focals. :( New glasses should help the map reading but I still have to run in a straight line. Several legs were off by 10-15 degrees and several were misjudged by distance. My greatest success was leg 12. After being beaten up on several previous legs and not seeing any easy way to attack the control I just took a north bearing for 350m and then a new bearing from there coming right up on the control. (so that’s what it feels like to be right). I will be using my track on RG to study how I can improve my navigation.
This was only a 5.4 k course but I put my actual distance... 10.5k almost double :(
