shoes: Mythos

First time at the legendary Brooklyn Boulders! Ran there right after landing at JFK. Nice gym, great vibe. Was cool catching up with the guys I was climbing with in Thailand, back "home". Great way to fight jet lag... I hope. The fact that tomorrow daylight savings starts, might be a challenge (or not, since it brings the US one hour closer to Singapore time).

A sore tailbone makes for a very uncomfortable 24 hour plane ride. It doesn't help that China Eastern seems to have bought over United's old jets. Seats are rock hard. Hope my bone heals before I have to head back.

The rubber over my left toe has worn away... need new shoes! A good all lead session with Tai. Just the two of us, so not too much rest in between climbs. Clearly, my limit is 6b as far as leading goes. Tai and I agreed to target leading 7a's by the end of the year.... Possible if I can get to the gym twice a week.

Dinner at Fatty Meng's after, just across the street. Can't believe I hadn't eaten there before. Will have to take advantage of it more often.

Was at the gym a solid 2+ hours but to be fair, I think I only clocked about 30 minutes of climbing. But I sweat(ed?) so much that I'll log 40 mins :-P. Did mostly 6a's and b's. I need to start pushing c's more. Would like to be leading 7's by the end of the year.
