Since we had to alter our plans to run the rim to rim to rim a few weeks ago we planned a day hike and 2 biking days to follow. We started today with The beautiful Bright Angel Trail. It's unbelievable and basically every switchback offers a view that could be found on a postcard.

We passed a few runners and with the slight pang in my heart to not be running, I just whispered to myself..."you'll have your chance next time!" ;)

Achilles was solid! Imagine that?! Rest and recovery, eh?

Chilly loop to Meaford via 33sideroad, 3rd line and back via rail trail and Euphresia townline. Legs were feeling my piddley squats from yesterday, sadly.
