Teamed up with fb for the 9th annual SSR. So great racing with fb and I especially enjoyed his calm, cool and collected nature going into this race...we spent about 8 minutes planning our route choice and then proceeded to talk about ice fishing and the base (yes, it's all about the base).

Pretty fun breaking trail, since in our opinion, is way more fun. Props to fb for his ability to stay focused and not get sucked into other route choices simply based on tracks or others - I need to work on that!

Perfect conditions and super fun powder made for a beautiful course once again. Very well done, Bobby!

Looks like I managed about 9.27km

Great morning and warmer temps...dropped 36&38 in the first box which I think was a smart enough decision. Looking back at box 2, I should have dropped 43&45 instead of 43&44 (my problem is that I don't spend enough time considering my options). I blew by 46 (obviously distracted by my handsome husband) and it was only at the top of 45 that I realized I must go back. Oops

Great morning and I even walked away with a new whistle for yard duty - see if those grade 8's nail me with snowballs now!
