trail run race 5:34:38 [3] 47.71 km (7:01 / km) +1541m 6:02 / km

-Perfect weather for a trail run in Copeland forest
-The trails were dry and in awesome condition
-Difficult effort today, I thought I would finish in 5 hours...silly me
-Up up up down down down, I'm still not sure which is the worse of the two evils...
-I was actually pretty excited to see an uphill by the 3rd lap because it meant a walking break...I need to learn to walk faster

Great day, awesome race swag (Orillia's finest honey, finishing socks, and a tee), and an honest struggle today :)

ps I stopped the gps because the battery was low from 38km on and didn't want to lose anything.

-Garmin Communicator is being temper mental and won't 'parse' my most recent activity...I wonder if I need to delete old workouts, i'm frustrated now after the 5th try

-no garmin no precision...felt like 5:30's...

-beautiful stretch of the Bruce...zero snakes, no wipe outs and tons of trilliums
-SO hungry after 5km, perhaps back to oatmeal for breakfast...
-looking forward to PYP next weekend, I missed the cushiony trails
