Long run.
Hard to get out the door but I layered up and drove to camperdown road. Sat in the car for about 10 minutes and contemplated running. Ate all my trail food and when I had nothing left but a gel, I set out. Felt so good once I was out but it was cold!

Same as yesterday- it was all I could do to remember the last few. Lock your core, lift your hips, flat back...oops, lock your core again. Don’t forget to breathe, hips up....lower your ribs...but keep your core locked. gah.

Not very recovery-ish.

Magical Christmas Eve run up the Peaks with a loop around the top with Krista and Tiia. Basically Krista floated up the Peaks with grace chatting away while I sucked wind and ‘recovered’ from yesterday. I’m getting to the point where I’m looking forward to my rest days so something is going right. That or I’m a run down, sleep deprived Mom while tryna make milk.

I can’t believe I’ll be a morning runner before I know it. :0

I had no business running hills with Kelly but she offered to join me and no, this is not a typo - I went running at 6am and I kind of liked it.

3 x Camperdown w/ 80% effort for the last 1/4. We did our own and met at the top to recover together. Kelly is so strong, she’s six weeks ahead of me and I swear she never even had a baby! I love that I can surround myself with such strong ladies.

Camperdown, through Loree, down and up to 21 sideroad. Took the road back to Loree and then made my way back to Camperdown. Tough slogging to break the trails even though it was all light powder. The perfect magical morning - not a soul in the forest - just the way I like it.

My attackpoint log is SO happy to see xc skiing.

Took Hank for his first ski, I think he might actually love it more than I do. Bob pulled Hank (I tried for a bit), and after he got it figured out I did a solo ski in the beautiful powder.

Much like flying, I feel like now that we’ve done this once, it’ll be that much easier next time.

Did a prison WOD with little weights that I had in Uville. Went easy on the legs since they were feeling rough after yesterday’s adventure and I want to ski tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor life decisions all around for this run. Blizzard? Check. Sketchy back country roads? Check. Budget head lamp? Check and check. If I had a dollar for every time I had to run in the ditch...(I’d have 4 bucks but you get the idea).

Stuck to the plan and happy to have gotten this one done.

Headig into my first easy week as I’ve signed up for Diez Vista in April. First three weeks felt decent. Must keep core and physio going and I’ve made a solid commitment to strength training.
