trail run 1:04:00 [3]

A lovely chatty run through Loree with Mrs. nosnhoj. Warm and muddy. Followed this run with Ashanti coffees and some purchases at Georgian Artisan.

trail run 2:03:31 [3]

Point to point on the BT from Kimberly. Bob dropped me off and left the car at Epping so he could do a paddle from Epping to Clarksburg. Picked Bob up in Clarksburg and secretly sighed some relief when I realized that I didn't have to transition into a paddle because he looked chilly!

Harps will appreciate my devastating story on this run - I stopped in Healthcote for a butter tart enjoy on my run and it was all I could think about. When it was finally time to eat it, I realized it wasn't in my pack. "That's okay!" I said...I'll have it in less than 4 km when I get to the car and it'll be that much better. Only it wasn't in the car! I guess it's somewhere on the Bruce. Such a travesty.

trail run 1:38:00 [3]

BT near and around Beaver Valley. Some bush whacking required to find The Crack...which we did only to discover I should probably go around. Sketchy and icy.

Other (Pilates ) 46:00 [2]

I can't believe how sore my muscles are from Monday's session. Yowza.

trail run 1:02:00 [3]

Petun trail run with Bob. Windy and chilly but the sunshine made up for that! Trails were in better shape than we predicted but still lots of snow in some sections. Flashbacks to SSR 2016 when DD11 and I made a big gamble forcing us to book it back to the finish!

Other (Pilates) 44:00 [2]

This is actually pretty great and something I will find useful to compliment running post preggers (you know, for all that time I'm going to have to run...;) harharhar).

Commited to 2x per week.

xc ski (Skate) 1:30:00 [3]

Sovereign Lake - I would have liked to ski longer today but I'm pooped. Tomorrow!

Much better skiing conditions than silverstar and everyone is so super friendly and helpful. Bob tackled the Silver Queen while I stuck to: Woodlands Bell, Passmore, Black Prince and Carl Wylie's.

10 AM

xc ski (Skate) 3:00:00 [3]

Lots of sunshine and blue skies as we climbed and climbed and climbed. Lunchtime was by best effort today.

xc ski (Skate) 2:06:00 [3]

Canada's largest network of daily groomed Nordic trails? Yes, please. You couldn't wipe the grin off my face.

We braved the misty snowish rain and set out on Meadow, Sidewinder, Meadow to Nightloop, Bridle Path, Silverstreak, TinTin and back via Nightloop/Lower Tintin back down Silverstreak. That's about all I could handle before a lunch break (being pregnant is HARD work, people). We climbed a lot. Now to eat, nap and head back out in a few hours. Magic.
6 PM

xc ski (Skate) 1:00:00 [3]

Lots of hiking/Snowshoe trails (that don't really require snowshoes because they are well packed) still to be explored.

Night loop via TinTin. I opted to skate while Bob went for classic. Big huge snowflakes falling while skiing. Super fun!

Sunday Mar 12, 2017 #

1 PM

trail run 1:03:00 [3]

Camperdown road with a loop through Loree with Mrs. nosnhoj. She was kind and patient with me. Lovely to catch up and not nearly as cold as I thought it would be.

ESAR buff made a perfect belly band, I could be onto to something.

Trout Hollow with Bob. Cold AF in the open sections and felt pregnant AF.

Canpersown and Lorre. Sketchy ice but should be gone in no time as it's 12 degrees!!

So impressed I found Bobs xc pole basket. What are the odds??

Sunday Mar 5, 2017 #

trail run 45:00 [3]

Robertson Tract trail run with Bob. Found his glove (which was our mission) and discovered that buffs make an excellent belly band and trail running feels way better than road running! Phew.

orienteering 1:50:00 [2]

Eliminator Adventure Run. Such a beautiful morning at Rocky Ridge. So lucky that Amber and funderstorm wanted to team up because we were on fire as a team. (I was mainly terrified of getting lost and freezing to death). We only had one little bobble where we made a team decision to drop no.5 and continued our day with much success.

Thanks ladies for the magical day in the sunshine and thanks to dontgetlost for a super tricky course!

Friday Mar 3, 2017 #

biking (Spinning) 55:00 [3]

Swapped a run for spinning because Bob wants to do the Eliminator tomorrow. I guess I'll give the 'Choose Your Own Adventure' a go!
