More upstream paddling - I felt like a little rainbow trout trying to get upstream and through the currents.

Funny, strava doesn't account for the time spent struggling through the Rapids!

I will get up to Heathcote on Wednesday and I will get up the rapid at 13...mind you, ferrying across and paddling along the bank seemed just as hard!

With our new Mindfulness curriculum at school, I must practice what I preach! Ministry of education is predicting that in the next 5 years, teaching mindfulness in schools will be as common as teaching math. (But they'll continue to throw 30 kids in 1 kindergarten classroom...how ironic)

With our beautiful canoe paddles. Kimberly to Heathcote on the Beaver River. Water is so high we did a quick pull out at 22sideroad because the water was too high to get under the bridge. Pretty neat to reroute and short cut through the flooded forest. ~17km feet stayed warm for the first 90 minutes. Not bad.

Snowy HTFU bike from Heathcote to home. Squeaked home with just enough time to shower before Trail in Motion Film Festival (which was great!) Poor Bob kindly dealt with the boat but in all fairness, he got the tail wind!!
