Learned a new trick: ride on a male specific seat all winter long then come spring, you switch to a cozy lady specific seat. You feel like you're riding with a donut under your bum. Honest.

Perfect spring running. Trails were in great shape and the sun was out all day (I have the raccoon face to prove it). Went out a bit fast on the first loop but how could you not when it was 3 degrees?! Ditched a layer on the second lap and on my final lap I ditched my vest pack.

Legs felt strong out there likely from a good taper. Great race and swag, really like the shirts this year!

Horseshoe Valley to Thornbury. Little bit of planning to make this happen since Bob was teaching an AR clinic in Milton.

Lovely route home via #93, Phelpston, Concession 12, Wasaga and old 26. Little traffic, smooth roads and more sunshine.

Thanks DD for the ride up and Mrs.Gally for stashing my bike.

Minor chaffing from my vest pack was irritated by my gigantic pack going home. Wahhwahh

Awesome day on the Nottawasaga River with Bobby, FB and Poppa. Suns out guns out (for the first half). Chilly when the sun went away and the head wind.

I got a bit cold toward the end so I was secretly happy to see the final stretch. Gear was appropriate it was just the damn wind.

My only problem, how the hell am I going to drink my wine tonight with rubber arms?!

Great way to jump into the paddling season - 50km more or less. Ended with cold beers while blasting the heat in the car.
