Pandaplace
Warm. Trails had mostly dried. Beast had some wet spots on the transitional section.

This was a nice bike loop with a bit or gravel road (3.5 miles). Unexpectedly had trouble at the bottom of Beauty. I had to put my foot down or get off 6 times. As expected had trouble at the switchback at the top but after the first dismount only had 2 minor touches.

Most people (20) I have seen out on the trails.

Homeplace w/Zitch/Skip/E 40# Pack
A little warm for the dogs but the pace was slow and the loop was short. Wanted to take it easy on them since Skip was limping a fair bit after his last run.

My legs were slow and stiff at the start, up the first hill.

Brush Loop via Toms Creek.
No dogs today. Giving them a day off from the long run. Skip was limping a bit after our run on Tuesday.

Looking for more ways around the Cloyd's property embargo. I went around the bottom of their property this time which meant going all the way to the road and coming back up 8Track. It's been over ten years since I was on this. I have always come down so I did some research to make sure I did it right and avoided houses, etc. Also to get a sense of the property I was on. No issues but I did have to go around a gate right at the turn off Bobcat.

Pace was pretty good but I think it could have been better considering the amount of road (paved and gravel) I was on. I also think I can keep a faster pace with the Mazamas.

Brush Loop Bushwhack w/Zitch/Skip
Ran up Brush Mtn trying to mark side trails along the way. Went to the restricted property then ran back a little and took a straight shot down a spur. The spur was pretty clear as I expected. But also as expected crossing the creek and the valley was not clear. I have a couple other approaches I could maybe try.

Pace was comfortable (a bit slow). I started bonking a bit and had to eat the Gu I, fortunately, brought. I met the girls at the top of Homeplace on my way back (+330' Net gain). We played on the rocks before walking down the mountain.

Saw an illegally sized group of campers on PC.

*Skip has a bit of a limp on his RL Leg. Opposite from his surgery leg.
