Hurricane Florence wasn't much. Heavy rain at the start but it stopped halfway through. Some nice breezes on Homeplace on the way back. Trails were pretty wet likely because of the current heavy rain. Only got about an inch so far.

Zitch wandered a bit too far twice early on when the rain was heavy. Had to stop as I was more concerned about losing him in those conditions.

Took the old roadbed into Boley fields. Someone cleared it at some point. Much better than shwacking through the small field.

Hour Loop. Monday's run in reverse. Pretty much the same pace. Humid and not cool.

Slipped in one of the creek crossings and knocked the back of my head pretty good on a rock. Luckily was ok but I need to share my running plans more when running alone.

New shoes were ok. Not good enough for wet conditions on slick rocks but think they'll be good dry trail shoes.

Hour Loop, a bit longer than my previous runs. Weather was cool and wet (perfect!). Forest smelled and felt great. Pace not too hard.

First time running from the house since the beginning of summer. First time on some trails in almost a year (pre-Skip injury). Trails look to have been maintained/improved since last time on them.
