Decided not to run today, hamstring needed a day off and also by the time I would have made it to the start I think that would have been enough, shame to miss such cool terrain though.

Flying out to Switzerland tomorrow for a week training for next year's JWOC.

jogged for 10 mins on the way to the start and walked the rest, hamstring tendon fine when jogging slowly on a path

started out jogging again and made it most of the way to number 1 (long leg) before deciding that it actually wasn't very nice and there was no point in doing it, went for a wander gradually towards the finish (couldn't go direct), walking partly because hamstring was painful and partly because I just wasn't feeling it, did the last 3 controls and finished at a jog, out for longer than I wanted but I figured it wouldn't matter because I was walking most of it

Jogging around again, perfect cut off from 5 to 11 for half an hour of running, amazing area, loved it!

Still got a cold but feeling much better so decided to run day 3, right hamstring tendon feeling a bit sore this morning though which is really weird as I have had 4 days rest...

Hamstring quite sore so just took it very easy, missed out a few controls as well, absolutely loved it though, such a nice area, the kind of terrain where you want to run really fast, shame I was jogging...

Chat with Kim afterwards and she says there's not really much I can do about it and resting isn't really going to help so she said I might as well run the next few days but only for about 30-40 minutes and easy. Otherwise keep icing, don't stretch or roll it but I can roll my glutes, she also sent some exercises the other day which I have started doing.

Lagganlia finished yesterday and the Scottish started today, I'll update this at some point but somehow I've lost all my garmin data for the week... Had to limit the amount I did a bit because of my hamstrings but I was able to run a lot more than I thought and did some high paced stuff too. Lots of icing. Had a bit of a sore throat for the last few days which got a lot worse yesterday afternoon and I've completely lost my voice so haven't been able to talk at all all day so I didn't run. Obviously want to run tomorrow but it's not looking good right now so I'll see how I feel in the morning. Not sure my hamstrings will make it through 4 consecutive races so looks like I won't be getting a result for the week. Main thing is to be fit for training in Switzerland next week.
