Again went for a run round the tracks instead of doing the course. Planned routes while running.

Part of the middle course from WOC selection race 2009. Feeling really tired so ended up just walking most of the time. Good to get some controls though.

Control pick on a blank map, except for the feature. First few weren't so good but then got much better and hit the controls well.
11 AM

Orienteering 25:00 [3] 2.2 km (11:22 / km) +22m 10:49 / km

Long compass legs with blank map. Went really well, hit them all very cleanly except was slightly off on the second one. Was a bit distracted because I fell just after the first one and twisted my knee which was quite painful, decided to carry on though.

Missed out the final controls on the full map and just jogged back. Partly because I didn't want to do too much and partly because of my knee. It was a really nice day in a lovely forest :) Jogged for 1km then walked for 2 mins.

Just went for a run round the tracks with the map of the training the others were doing. Because knee was sore in the terrain. Planned routes whilst running. Again ran for 1km, walked for 2mins.

Jog/walk round the first and last few controls. Definitely have felt better.

Decided not to do the gym this morning, thought sleep could be more beneficial and also so i don't get ill.
