Found out we have some kettlebell guys in the neigjbirhood so I went over to join the for a workout. Far more traditional than my usual.

32 k goblet squat X 10
Inclined push up X 5
24 k swing X 20
Pullup X 5
Figure 8 to a hold X 10

Do circuit 5 times. Officially it was more like 18 minutes. Then wo did sime strap work to round out the time.

I just wanted to log some cardio time this weekend si after kettlebell training I went for a jog. Level paved surfaces, focused on breathing rhythm.

The plan had been to do this thrice but Laura and I were at the gym together and she was really not feeling it so I said it was ok if we go.

Two laps on the Minnehaha trail. Jogged down, ran hard the first 1/4 - 1/3 of the way back then jogged it out. Hit lap 1 at exactly 10 min / mile pace. Jogged round two and jad to fight hard to not drop to my knees and dry heave at the end.

had a work "volunteer" event that kept me late. I thought I may not get to work out at all. Fortunately my wife is understanding so after dinner she went to watch TV (not my favorite activity) and let me go train.
I have some foot soreness from the run (slog) yesterday but that's to be expected in the early days.
Tomorrow is lots of biking day.
Wednesday is off to host friends for dinner.
Thursday is kind of up in the air, may just do 30 minutes of running in the park.
Friday will probably be a gym day.
Saturday definitely will have a gym component
Sunday I may try swimming in the lake. I haven't swum in earnest in years.
