Canal between miles 51~61, including a 3 mile section of the AT into Harper's Ferry. Two bad sections, a bridge was out with a steep detour around mile 53, and for 1k between Brunswick campground and downtown where it became a crappy gravel road. Cut down the sides of some old running shoes to fit in the Skikes and cut a slit in the back, which seemed better for the heel than the shoes I was previously using.

Then I got home and smacked my head into the outside sharp corner of a cranked-open kitchen window. There was blood dripping but the nurse was not too impressed otherwise, and I should probably wear some kind of hat orienteering tomorrow to keep the sticks out of it.
