Stopped to run a trail loop of Roosevelt island, which was nice except that the east half of the loop was all boardwalk...could skip that next time. was feeling ok so I added some extra on up the PHT, which I had not been on before. there were some tiny ups and downs, but foot didn't complain. was carrying my whole seat-bag with phone/keys/wallet, which wasn't terrible but would probably be annoying for any longer amount of time.
