Both knees started giving me trouble. Started after a relatively fast, 8km run on the promenade (mostly concrete). Classical runner's knee symptoms.
Pains continue on and off, now after other swimming and cycling sessions as well.
13-19/6 - take a week break from running, only one swim on Tuesday. Right knee ached a day or two after the swim. Tried KT taping, I think it helped but can't be sure.
20/6 - back to running, short and slow. Pain almost from the start. Started doing quad strengthening exercises seriously, three times a day.
22/6 - another short and slow run, felt much better.
I believe this is mostly gone now. The quad strengthening has probably done the trick.
