A bit of overuse, rather than full-on tendonitis, on my bad R achilles. Should be fine with icing, calf massage and three days off, then a gentle re-start.
NOTE (three months later) so much for that prognosis! Likely to be bursitis but it's still stopping me running.
NOTE (four months later) it IS bursitis, exacerbated by a bone growth. Steroid injection and 10 days' rest.
Temporary reprieve; will probably reoccur.
