Combo of ankle sprain, overuse and mostly from pushing bare foot in the surf ski right at the joint caused a bruise and swelling to joints/tendons of my 2nd & 3rd toes.
-18th noticed it but thought I kicked a rock -
-20th it got worse when I walked (in dress shoes) for a few hours at a work site. This caused the inflammation and could not walk with pressure on it until xxx
-23rd got a Dr appt and pad to relieve pressure from area - started ice and no heat.
7/28 - Foot pain is gone but still some pressure and limp from not taking full stride steps - puts pressure on the tip of toe joints.
8/1 - ankle is weak but "normal" now and foot is "normal" - no pain or pressure and walking with full strides.
