Looks like a single muscle group in the arm is strained (from planing a pole while vaulting). Shoulder is fine, and from elbow down is fine.

As of Aug 29, I have added back small movements of the arm in a raising direction. It still is very unhappy at any strain such as raising the weight of the arm.

Sept 2. Can raise arm 1/4.

Sligltly re-aggreavated arm while trail running and catching myself with it...-(

Sept 14. With the knee not feeling well, the arm is less noticable;-) Can raise it about 1/2 way. Going to start working on it (slowly).

Sept 22. Good mobility at low level raising. Still can't raise above 1/2 way. Can move it there is it is not supporting weight.

Sept 25. Arm held up well to 1.5 hrs of bush trimming...-)

Oct 1. Arm able to raise completely now. (wo-hoo)

Nov 1. Started doing exercises with arm to build back strength.

Nov 10. I'm going to close this injury out - the arm is not 100%, but it is close to fully functional, and in no way limits my orienteering.
