Grade: 3

Got very badly sunburnt while whitewater rafting on the Nile. Felt fine on the day - did hill intervals. Next morning went for a 45min jog, and felt wrecked. That evening was completely exhausted, and in pain over most of my legs and upper arms. Got my energy back on Monday, and did a sweaty gym session. Only problem was that not all of the sweat was getting out... instead it was bubbling up under my damaged skin. Discovered that any form of exertion caused this, so took a couple of days off to ensure my skin wouldn't completely fall off...

Stupidly only put suncream on twice during the rafting, and only on my upper body... should have plastered it on all over all the time.
