At mile 11 of Lincoln Half Marathon, left calf got tight, same problem earlier. Managed to finish race, but back to step 1 to recover again.
May 11 - Dog Days workout, the run part, was not good. Stick with biking and do the PT exercise.
May 14 - Becky printed out an article on a recommended exercised based on work done by the Univ Hopsital of Northern Sweden (Umea) - heavy-load eccentric calf-muscle training. Her staff took care of my frozen shoudler problem. Now I'll give this eccentric loading exercise a try - supposed to go about 12 weeks. Will I reaggravate the calf again at the Hospital Hill half marathon June 3?
