R Torso, Upper Back Pain

2019-04-19 – 2019-04-26

Grade: 3

Upper back strain.
Woke up and pain was pretty bad. Couldn't really make it through the day. Ended up at the chiro. He said it is just a result of my posture (and height). No way to know what triggered the pain as opposed to the slight chronic back/neck tightness I usually have.

He gave me some new stretches/exercises to add to my current routine.

The second morning was pretty bad but it got better after that despite it being a bit worse in the morning vs the evening.

Seems to have healed well with just easy movement and some light heat. Laying down for too long causes it to be more painful to get up. Laying on side is better than back. Make sure to have proper support in either case.

Daily feel is good but after recover date I am still getting some soreness in the morning after laying down all night.

Running actually might help as it forces good posture
Yard work didn't bother it.
Long rides probably not the best.
Sleeping on side or using a tiny pillow are the best ways to handle the morning soreness.
