Grade: 2
About a mile into a slow to moderate three mile early morning road run (working on road running tolerance), my right knee began to feel very strange - very unstable. Some pain around the back of the joint, but not sharp. I finished the run ok though it never worked out. Later in the day, the pain and instability was quite noticeable, so that I had to walk bearing my weight on a bent knee (which itself was uncomfortable and tiring).
My best guess as to cause is that I may have overdone my hamstring stretches in the previous couple days.
Now, a couple days later, I have tried my first run (very easy trails) and the problem is not noticeable. I've dialed back my hamstring stretch on the right side, letting my knee remain flexed maybe 5 degrees during the stretch.
