R Foot, Ankle Sprain

2014-11-10 – 2015-01-10

Grade: 2

I twisted it several times during a race. Coupled with my back pain, it made for a bad combination. The tear pain is high, perhaps going into the calf too. However, there is shooting pain when standing from my back downward through the injury in my ankle/calf.

Though things felt like a sprain or tear, the medical diagnosis was Lumbar Radiculopathy. It slowly got better. Making this resolution entry after the fact, I guess my body re-routed the nerves after my disc herniation and a piece of the disc breaking off between L4/L5 and pushing against my spinal column.
