R Knee, Patellar tendonitis

Discomfort and sometimes acute pain in knee cap after prolonged driving...and use of accelerator pedal. Started after 4 days of mountain biking on 7stanes trails. Pain initially acute at all times after sitting. But now reduced to mild discomfort unless driving for more than an hour. Running on it seems Ok. Not tried cycling yet.
