I hesitate to call it an injury, but I tweaked the ball of my left foot yesterday after changing back into my work shoes after I went running. I've never done that before... It feels tender, but not too bad. I'll just do low/no impact cardio (cycling) for the next several days and wear old running shoes instead of boots outside and at work.
Looks like the main culprit was super tight calves. I went to Probility today and the guy wasn't surprised I have a problem with the ball of my foot due to my tight calves. I guess I'll stretch a lot more than I have been.
